How do I set the feeding times?
Use the +/- and SET buttons on the front keypad to navigate through the meal time settings. The LCD display shows the current time and programmed meal times clearly. Set each meal time and portion size independently — the unit stores the settings and dispenses automatically at the configured times each day.
Does it work without a phone app?
Yes — all scheduling is done via the physical keypad on the unit. No app, no Wi-Fi connection and no smartphone required. This makes setup straightforward and means it continues to work even if you change phone, lose connectivity or are not at home.
What type of food can it dispense?
The feeder is designed for dry kibble of standard pellet size. Very large breed kibble (oversized pellets) may not flow reliably through the dispenser mechanism. Wet food, raw food and very small pellets or powder are not suitable. Fill with standard dry kibble for reliable dispensing.
What happens during a power cut?
The unit requires a power connection to dispense food at scheduled times. During a power cut, scheduled feedings will not occur. The USB-powered variant can be connected to a USB power bank as a backup for power cuts. If reliability during outages is important, select the USB variant and pair with a charged power bank.
